The reflective strips are ANSI Class 2 compliant. Thae neon lace fabric is currently not approved for ANSI Class 2 compliance due to the porous nature of lace (ANSI requires the fabric to be uniform and continuous - lace unfortunately does not pass that test).

Yes, they are washable! The reflective strips may lose effectiveness after about 25 washes (this is common for reflective strips in ALL high viz safety wear). For best results, we recommend hand washing. If using a washing machine, place the vest in a mesh laundry bag to protect the lace from snagging.

The lace is made from PP (Polypropylene) Yarn - it has high tensile strength, low weight, and superior moisture/chemical resistance. It is not a toxic material and is widely used in the textile industry.
This fabric is not as fine or thin as regular lace, making it more durable than you think!
